Local zinesters are invited to share and swap their zines and connect with the local community.
If you make zines that include photography and/or are related to the photographic medium, art, collage, skateboarding, and/or mental health, come and hang with us! Zines can be works in progress and can be home printed (if printed, please bring multiples if you can!)
Arrive at noon when we’ll ‘share’ our zines via short self-introductions. At 1 pm we’ll ‘swap’ our zines and connect with one another over drinks and snacks, provided by Exposure and TCS. If you’re a zine-fan but don’t create your own zines, please feel free to come to the event and hear from others about their work.
This event is Co-Hosted by the Exposure Photography Festival and The Camera Store with Supporting Partners AUArts Hear/d Arts Residency, Contemporary Calgary and Star Roots Zine.
