Contemporary Connections: Farsi Tour

Discover Contemporary Calgary’s exhibitions like never before with Contemporary Connections, a guided tour of Presence offered in Farsi. Led by Shaghayegh (Poppy) Ghasemi, this tour provides unique insights into our thought-provoking exhibitions, fostering conversation and meaningful connections in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
After the tour, take the opportunity to explore our other exhibitions and enjoy everything Contemporary Calgary has to offer.
Admission: Included with the cost of entry—$12 daily admission, or by donation for visitors under 25. Memberships and Canoo passes are also accepted. Paid upon arrival.
Registration: Advance registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome if space allows.

با تور «ارتباطات معاصر»، نمایشگاه‌های Contemporary Calgary را از زاویه‌ای تازه تجربه کنید — یک بازدید هدایت‌شده از نمایشگاه Presence به زبان فارسی. این تور با راهنمایی شقایق قاسمی برگزار می‌شود و نگاهی منحصربه‌فرد به آثاری تأمل‌برانگیز را ارائه می‌دهد؛ این نمایشگاه فرصتی بی‌نظیر برای گفتگو و ایجاد ارتباطی معنادار در فضایی صمیمی و فراگیر خواهد بود.
پس از پایان تور می‌توانید از نمایشگاه‌های دیگر بازدید کنید و از سایر امکانات Contemporary Calgary بهره‌مند شوید.
· هزینه ورود برای عموم ۱۲ دلار و برای برای افراد زیر ۲۵ سال، رایگان خواهد بود (با امکان پرداخت اختیاری). کارت عضویت و کارت Canoo نیز پذیرفته می‌شود. هزینه را می توانید در زمان ورود پرداخت کنید.

About the Facilitator
Shaghayegh (Poppy) Ghasemi
(she/her)
Shaghayegh (Poppy) Ghasemi is a PhD candidate at the University of Calgary, with research focusing on children. She holds a bachelor's degree in Museum Studies and a master's in Anthropology. Awards from both the University of Manitoba and the University of Calgary have supported her research on child neglect. Poppy has over five years of hands-on experience working with children and youth in museums and schools across Iran, Turkey, and Canada. Before joining Contemporary Calgary, she was a program educator at the Manitoba Children's Museum. She is passionate about activating children's critical and creative thinking through programs delivered in English, French, Farsi, and Turkish. In her leisure time, she enjoys cooking and walking with her husky along the Bow River.

شقایق قاسمی دانشجوی دکتری در دانشگاه کلگری است. او دارای مدرک کارشناسی در مطالعات موزه و باستان‌شناسی و کارشناسی ارشد در انسان‌شناسی است. تحقیقات او درباره غفلت از کودکان، مورد حمایت دانشگاه مانیتوبا و دانشگاه کلگری قرار گرفته است.
او بیش از پنج سال تجربه عملی در کار با کودکان و نوجوانان در موزه‌ها و مدارس ایران، ترکیه و کانادا را دارد. شقایق پیش از پیوستن به Contemporary Calgary، به عنوان مربی برنامه‌های آموزشی در موزه کودکان مانیتوبا فعالیت می‌کرد.
او مشتاقانه در پی پرورش تفکر انتقادی و خلاق کودکان از طریق طراحی برنامه‌هایی به زبان‌های انگلیسی، فرانسوی، فارسی و ترکی است.
