Thanks to a generous donor, Contemporary Calgary is offering 5 Art Passes at each of Calgary Public Library’s 21 locations. This program aims to provide access to Contemporary Calgary exhibitions, so Calgarians and their families can check out all that Contemporary Calgary has to offer! Rather than checking out just a membership card, the Art Pass has taken the form of a living guestbook that invites YOU to engage with the art on display, share your thoughts and reflections or even draw a sketch right in the book.

Check out this book (no really, check it out of the Library!)
Stop by Contemporary Calgary and check in at reception.
Visit, get inspired, and share your thoughts! (Write, sketch, or doodle)
Return the book to the Library and spread the word using #CheckOutCC.
Whether you’re an individual seeking inspiration or a family eager to explore together, you can check out the Art Pass at any Calgary Public Library location starting March 7, 2024—and if you want to purchase your very own Contemporary Calgary annual membership you can do so online or at the gallery for only $20!
