Waxing & Waning—A Lunar Quartet
Calgary Philharmonic at Contemporary Calgary
Monday, February 10, Performance begins at 7PM

Under the magnificent Museum of the Moon installation by UK-based artist Luke Jerram, join Calgary Philharmonic's Assistant Concertmaster Donovan Seidle and other Orchestra musicians, as they take us through a curated musical journey of reflection about the moon as it suspends above you in the Centennial Planetarium Celestial Theatre.

The moon is one of those weird and wonderful earthly constants that humankind has reflected on through the ages—it is one of our earliest symbols. As we see it cycle from season to season it manages to capture and sustain our collective imagination. Of course, the moon has given us a chance to reflect on it scientifically, but it has also brought great artistic reflection allowing us to wonder at it creatively.

Limited tickets are available for this one-night-only performance.
