Open Studio for 55+

Join Contemporary Calgary at our drop-in Open Studio Session for 55+ on Wednesdays in July.

During this informal art-making drop-in session, participants are invited to bring their own projects along with any art and craft materials they are currently using. This time can be used not only for creating but also for connecting with other artists, fostering collaboration and inspiration.

For adults age 55+.

FREE and no registration is required; simply check in with a gallery attendant at the front desk by signing your name each time on the sign-in sheet.

About our Education Facilitator

Tyson
(he/him)

Tyson is a community developer; his personal slogan is to edify others, befriend the lonely and promote justice! Tyson is grateful that his vocation matches his values and that he can bring people together through the art of facilitation. Tyson has the delight of being part of several community-based initiatives on Treaty 7, whether by increasing public participation or facilitating change processes through creativity and imagination work. A self-proclaimed troublemaker, his intention is to build communities to share power and effect change.  Tyson co-leads the network Community Development Learning Initiative and Founder of Recess Calgary.
